Is my company required to keep a time-tracking record?
Yes. Since Royal Decree-Law 8/2019, all companies in Spain — regardless of size or sector — must record their employees' working hours every day, including start time, finish time and breaks. The Labour Inspectorate can request the records at any time.
How are absences, holidays and sick leave recorded?
Employees can request and managers can approve directly from wiwink. Everything is recorded: holidays, leave, sick leave and other absences.
What happens if I don't keep time-tracking records or can't prove them?
The Labour Inspectorate can impose fines ranging from €626 to €7,500 per employee. In addition, a lack of records can be taken as evidence of undeclared overtime.
Can employees request absences from their mobile?
Yes. With wiwink they can do it from any device (mobile, tablet, laptop), as it is a responsive web application: there is no app to install, just an internet connection.
Can I use wiwink even if I already work with a labour advisory firm?
Yes. You don't need to change advisers. We simply centralise clock-ins, absences and employment documentation.
Is it valid for part-time contracts?
Yes. wiwink supports flexible schedules, part-time hours and hybrid working (on-site + remote), configured per employee.
How is data stored? Is it secure?
Yes. wiwink stores and encrypts information in compliance with GDPR, with a minimum retention of 4 years, EU servers, and audit and traceability logs.
How much does it cost?
